Enduring Love: A Reflection on Easter and the Human Experience

This Easter, we are reminded once again of enduring love - a love that lingers endlessly. It is a celebration of a soul and a spiritual connection that is deep and rare. A promise fulfilled, yet a union unmade. A trust in the unseen. A bond that weaves one and all together.

In many ways, Easter and the story of Jesus reflect the human experience. How many times have you revealed your truth and been completely vulnerable, only to be betrayed, rejected, or sacrificed in some way, shape, or form? Jesus did not carry weapons or threaten anyone. The only perceived threat was that he bared his soul. In truth, there is nothing more powerful than the revelation of your soul.

Easter is a mourning yet a thanksgiving. A crucifixion of the vulnerable self. A love of the soul and not the guise. Our stubborn hearts may not yield, yet a gentle light shines from within, revealing the ultimate truth we can not hide away from.

How profound is a love given without any expectations? Every time I reflect on the journey of Jesus the Christ, and his passion and love for humanity, I am left in awe.
